Well I popped the question to my missus the other day and she was silly enough to say yes. So I was wondering what would be your dream wedding cars? or for the people who have been married, what cars did you have? Im thinking a mix of old school and new school Ford muscle cars.

Cheers Judd

Congrats Judd! The type of car is pretty personal, but I always think a few of the same style and colour looks awesome, but at least 4 identical cars would look pretty sweet for photos!

Yep, whatever you end up getting, if they are all the same colour, it looks tops!

There is a stretched 300C doing the rounds in Sydney, looks unreal.

Or 3 or 4 new GT's would be ejaculation material. Dont think you'd get 4 old school GT's.

My groomsmen and I arrived at the church in the back of a GT replica XY ute. It was bumble bee yellow with black stripes and had a tunnel ram 351. The look and sound was awesome.

After the ceremony, we went to the reception in a couple of stretched Merc limos, all kitted out inside, with the XY running as an escort.

As said, it's a personal choice, after all, it's your day.

My wife arrived with the wedding party in a streatch Prosche 911 and I arrived in a black Boxter.

It worked well in the pictures and it was fun to thrash a prosche for 3 days.

  • Oh look.... a real car, with no hair dryer

My brother inlaw owns the injected 347 in the middle and his mate had the other, full resto and immac!

I can't find mine atm, but I had an ecclectic mix of power and luxury.

The wife arrived in a Merc S500 with reclining rear seats.

Now me, well I left my tie at home, lucky I my mate was driving me in his 378rwkw R33 Skyline, My best man was in a Turboed 11 sec 240z and and Dad rode in a 320rwkw S6 Rx7!

Congrats on the engagement.

We had a 1950's Rolls Royce as that's all they had on Hayman Island.

I would have got XY GT's had it been local but that's my preference.

Just remember the costs of these things. Maybe look at hiring out a pair of nice cars for the weekend to enjoy.

If you go the Turbo route, I am sure there are heaps of guys here who would do it in a flash.

Congrats on the bold move Judd. :blaah:

We had only one XY GT as we couldn't find another car for hire on the same day, and nobody owns two!!! at the time to match it.

It was a totally original car in white with the usual stripes and shaker.

The wife arrived in it, and we let for photos in the car after the service absolutely sideways in a cloud of smoke. The owner wasn't scared to give it some when you asked him. :stickpoke:

That was 10 years ago, and I still think I would choose the same type of car now if I were to have the choice.
