not sure if this would help or not, but I remember seeing a few completely insane 'busa's that had hairdryers on them.

ok where to start... my last bike was a YZ450...

for starters, id try and talk you out of it, but if you really want to do it then be prepared to spend alot of money doing it.

First thing is you will need engine management, as the factory ECU and most aftermarket ones for motos will not be capable of dealin with boost.

They run a very high compression ratio standard, so you may need to lower this to run any reasonable amount of boost without pinging even with very hi octane fuels. Also you will almost certainly need an intercooler or you wont be able to get any timing into it at all if you feed it direct hot air with this high comp ratio. Therefore, you wont make stuff all extra power without it. Question is where do you put it and all the plumbing that goes with it?

They run a carburettor, so somhow you will need to rerig this as a blowthru setup and change your jetting radically to deal with it.

Fitting all the pipe work and turbo itself is gonna be almost impossible as you have very little room, the package is very tight as standard. If you did hang all this gear off the side of it, its gonna get easily damaged when you crash and render its off road abilities rather limited. you also have flying rocks from your front wheel to flick up and damage things not to mention roost from people in front.

Then to tune it, you gonna have to start from scratch as I doubt anyone has done this before that you could get to help you.

very impracticle dude...

if its a drag bike only then anythings possible, and practicality is no longer a concern. But being the first one to do it means you make all the mistakes and spend all the money figuring out the best way of doing things... its gonna be expensive and take a long time. at the end of the day, its only 450cc`s. you might make 100hp at the back wheel when its all said and done, is this really gonna satisfy your hunger?

much easier to build a hill climb bike and drag that... use a 1000cc 4cyl engine, turbo that (its already been done many times so you will know exactly how to do it and get help with it) and package it all in a custom extended frame. Then youll have an absolute missile running 8sec 1/4 miles...
