I figure this must be abit of an issue they have when you start putting some hp through everything. just wondering has anyone found a replacement bush instead of the ford one, I dont want to be replacing it 3 mths down the track. the cars only 9 mths old with 20000 klm on it & has been modded slowly along the way. is putting out around 500rwhp so its only gonna happen again I think with factory bush. thanks johnbf mkii xr6t zf6sp Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/46460-diff-bush/ Share on other sites

Yours being an auto may not make any of this noise as when it coasts it doesn't have the same engine braking so it might be fine. Beauty of this bush is if it fails again it can be changed alot easier than the factory as its not pressed in and doesn't have a metal shell around it, if you were to drill a hole in the spare wheel tub about 25mm you could replace it without dropping the rear end. I tried Fulcrums and Pedders 6 weeks ago and they didn't have any developed or made then. Clever Ford went to a weaker one in the BFs than what the BAs had. Looks like regular OEM replacement until the aftermarket boys pull finger. I think mine is living on very borrowed time Edited 09/06/08 04:12 AM by hypnodoc Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/46460-diff-bush/#findComment-690414 Share on other sites
