May 4, 200818 yr #1 Hey, getting 19's put on the car on wednesday and was just wondering how much this will change the height of the car. I have standard 17's at the moment and standard xr6 springs will look at lowering later but was just wondering if anyone has any pics or and idea if it is going to look silly or not.
May 4, 200818 yr #2 IMO you'll have to drop it at least 1", I think the difference between 19 and 17's will be very obvious
May 4, 200818 yr #3 Author im sure this has been answered all rady some where in this section but what are springs are people running who have 19's
May 4, 200818 yr #4 I put 19's on my ute a few months ago. They fill the wheel arch a fair bit more and it looses a bit of the 4wd status. It's still high though.Check out my signature as to where it'll sit on stock suspension.Good thing im booked in thursday for dumpage
May 5, 200818 yr #6 When I got my 19's I was gonna wait till the next pay to get it lowered... But after I saw my 4WD I lowered it the next day...My 2c
May 5, 200818 yr #7 I have attached 2 pics of my ute, it has stock suspension.the first pic id with 18's and the 2nd pic is 20's
May 6, 200818 yr #8 Yep it will turn into a monster truck.... mines been like this for six months now... desperatly needs to be lowered, I'm just worried bout the CV's apparently they have a really hard time on lowered cars and mine being a manual doesn't help
May 10, 200818 yr #9 Author well got the rims put on today and it is a little high but is good for now until I can afford to get it lowered
