But, buy your own oil, you don't want to know what Ford will charge. Will you warrant their boxes on denial from ford.Good luck dude, I had a huge fight over this with the one of the Ford driveline specialists, and if it is found that any other fluid apart from the one supplied with andrecommended by Tremec will void your warranty. Good luck to the dealer that goes and does this, I can guarantee the cost of all warranty work will be from their pockets. One is red and one is green so unless you are able to completely remove one or the other, Ford will be able to tell.I have had my box replaced as have many others here with no avail. The T56 has no factory insulation around the stick like the 5 speed did and even if it did, would make no difference. Does the gearbox operate normally or is there any other faults, jumping out of gear? Mate, you are quite welcome to come have a listen to mine and I can explain it better to you. Pm me for my details, I am in Campbellfield.Transmax Z is far superior to dexron 3 as it is fully synthetic. There is no such oil as dextron or tranzmax.APPLICATIONCASTROL TRANSMAX Z is recommended where either DEXRON III, IIE or II D fluids are specified. CASTROL TRANSMAX Z has provedmost suitable in severe service applications where high temperatureshave reduced transmission life. CASTROL TRANSMAX Z has beenshown to reduce automatic transmission fluid temperatures by up to200C in severe duty applications.Typical applications Edited 31/03/08 08:28 AM by arronm Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/44037-6-spd-manual-drama/page/3/#findComment-652730 Share on other sites
Guest EGOXRT Guests Posted 31/03/08 09:05 AM Share Posted 31/03/08 09:05 AM Sorry for the Name errors and no doubt the synthetic oil is superior, that does not change the fact that it will void your warranty.
