I had mine lock up whenever I attached external memory (flash, psp, etc). my scanner was the culprit as it was always plugged in and finally gave a usb port overloaded message 6 months after I'd found the problem!worth a try Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43158-computer-locking-up/page/2/#findComment-640649 Share on other sites

It's a hardware lock up. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43158-computer-locking-up/page/2/#findComment-641243 Share on other sites

Im not sure.. Usually the lockups are assosiated with the RAM...Try getting a old PSU hooked up, or Harddrives or something.. and Try to Isolate the fuxed component =\ Edited 03/03/08 10:25 AM by SubJimbo Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/43158-computer-locking-up/page/2/#findComment-641383 Share on other sites

Then see if it locks up. I reckon its heat related!!
