I think you should definately keep the polished lip, it breaks up the tyre and wheel

IMHO the black rims cheapen the look, makes it look "boy-racerish", like some guys in their Skylines or Swifts got a can of black to it.

I think the new machined rims give the car a classy edge, and look s..t hot when you're driving along - which is what everyone else sees...

but then I am biased

Good call on leaving the rims alone. Edit and custom tune is the go. :P

I'm thinking I will replace the idiot guages that tell you absolutely jack with something that will give me some information. I like:

These:

And also these:

I like the massive amount of information you get with the digital guages but IMO don't look as good as the dials. I also like the stock look with the autoguage dials.

What does everyone else use - surely your not using the stock guages?

I just got my new tripod this morning. It was sitting right in front of my car in the carport when I walked out the front door. They were having a chat about how much better they would look together and how much they hate the stock gauges. lol

Now when I get paid I'm gonna order those exact ozegauges you've attached from Scott.

It's gonna look sick. But first I think I have to spray it first. I was thinking of carrying the shiny silver colour from around the ICC up to the base of the gauges. It might look good being that mine is Lightening Strike. Anyone know what the colour is?

:tonguepoke: Where did you get the tripod from and how much was it? Are you going to mount them yourself or pay someone to mount them?

I should have my black Rspec by next Friday - the waiting is almost too much! :crybaby:

I'm also not sure if I want to replace the 2 guages with a 3 pod holder with guages or just get 2 new gauges and put them in the stock 2 pod holder. :buttrock:

Black R Spec should be nice. And yes, Dark argents suit well.

I am actually going to sell my Black BF F6 auto now. Need to get a territory.

Enjoy your R spec.
