Onya mate. So what exactly can you offer this more than worthy cause? Just trying to keep a tab on resources...

I just got back from a weekend away and it's great to see Alex and Plazmaman participating - thanks. So, I take it we will be using your new 800 HP Plazmaman IC for the tests?

Now we need the product suppliers to agree on how the test should be conducted. At the moment we have suggested 4 power runs, with temps measured before and after the 4th run. Is that a fair test? Do we need to measure pressure drop or have we got that data already?

We are currently doing testing on a new range of Intercoolers for the whole BA/BF range and early signs are looking very promising and the size will surprise you

We will keep you posted

Nice - the more product the better. Or do we just get more confused?

Hey I was in at Nizpro today getting a stage 1 IC fitted and I had a chat to Simon about this thread. Simon is also willing to supply his intercooler. So we now have all the "big boys" willing to be in on this - great news and thanks to all. But wait there's more. Simon is also willing to provide his workshop, including necessary labour, hoist, dyno operator, the lot for this cause. He said that all of you guys supplying your equipment are welcome to be present for the tests of course. You'd just have to supply your piping with the correct fitment welded in for the temp sensors. He also suggested we you all have input in how the test should be conducted and everyone should agree on a standard test - which makes sense of course.

How does this sound to everyone? We have all of the resources we need now, you guys would just have to get yourselves down to Melbourne. Is this doable for everyone you other guys? For this to happen in Melbourne, we just need a Melbourne-based car. Any takers? Unless Pat wants to come for a drive :) You can stay at my house for nicks!

Im happy for it to happen in Melbourne.

Would be good to have the dyno set to a ramp rate that keeps the car loaded for a very long time.....we really need to lean on the coolers hard to sort out whats good and whats not.

well, I'm out, sorry guys, I wanted to see this test go ahead as much as any one, but being in Sydney, I can't drive my car to melbourne just for it to get aquainted with Nizpros Dyno!

So you'll need a new car, Nizpro would have a few down there wouldn't they!

No worries mate. I don't think anyone would expect you too, but a big thanks from all for offering in the first place.

Being independant from any product, I've seen a hell of a lot of cooler / car combinations, and I certainly know what works well, what works, and what can be thrown in the bin..

It will be interesting to see if the conclusion lines up with what I've seen.

Wouldnt mind helping out if extra hands are needed
