The fuel pump won't work because it's relay is triggered by the EEC relay.

Pull the HEGO fuse and try it.

just thought might be worth checkin the cut out switch and some of the other bits realated to the fuel system will keep searchin see what else I can find

anything on the EEC Relay under the bonnet? its the one on the RHS of the fuel pump relay. on the front row

Have you actually looked to see if any are blown.

In the same box as the relays there is a 15amp fuse for the HEGO system. It's part of the EEC circuit. If that has a short then you'll eliminate the short. If nothing changes then you can assume that system is ok.

is that the tiny little black resistor next to the EEC relay? if so yes its been checked.

edit- jsut checked on my car (trough) and no we havent checked that one, I rang BB and gettin him to check it that about the only fkin thing we havent looked at.. he's gunna get back to me in about 20 when he gets back to his car.

Yep, tried that HEGO fuse... didn't make a difference.... checked every fuse under the bonnect.. all are ok... any other ideas guys?

Have you done anything to the car in the last couple of months ?

It could be a bad plug contact or cockeyed.

The way you describe the ticking, screems to me a power problem like battery, but as you have swapped it out, have you checked the motor earth lead ?

Or the other large power cables ?

Just did battery pipe yesterday.. everything was running beautiful. Have checked all earths and power leads. both visually and with a multimeter. Tried jump starting, changed the battery.. nothing will work.

RACV were just out here... he tried less than we did and he put it down to an "Electrical Problem" DER! think we already know this. But anyway.. he gone back to workshop to get scan tool and a trailer so hopefully the scan tool will show us the problem *fingers crossed*

He also said something bout the BA's having some sort of electrical lockout or somehting to do with the immobiliser... can anyone shed any light on this topic?

If scan tool comes up with nothing, I'm getting it towed to my house where I'll put it in the shed and go over everything again... just the way I wanna spend christmas eve :S oh well.

Any help you guys give me will be great.
