I was driving along and tunred through an intersection, halfway through the intersection the ute died, then started, then died... now its DEAD.

the EEC relay makes a funny buzzing noise, I have tried numerous relays in it but it continues to buzz. The fuel pump doesn't prime, it doesn't evan try and kick over. Have tried jump starting it but no go, the relay just continues to buzz.

need help... so much for getting a tune boxing day :(

The relay isn't the problem then.

Is the 30amp engine fuse blown?

Is the 30amp engine fuse blown?

its got sumthing to do with the circuitry going to the relay, weve had the whole fuse panel lifted out and inspected underneath and all seems fine, no melted wires or burnt smells.

whenever ACC is on the relay just BUZZ's and vibrates.

whatever it is, its killing the entire engine managment cuz when ACC is on or when attempting to crank, the fuel pump wont prime or ANYTHING. even the starter motor wont click.

its disabled the entire engine managment.

the ABS gives a "click" every now and then when u press on the EEC relay...?

its a tricky one. RACV road-kill are coming later to TRY and fix it.... oh well a free tow to ford!

I bet your battery is FUBAR. Sounds like a cell or 2 have collapsed.

I would say the that buzz/vibrate the relay is doing is actually the relay rapidly opening and closing.

The fuel pump won't work because it's relay is triggered by the EEC relay.

Pull the HEGO fuse and try it.
