OK, so far it looks like the MacArthur boys are meeting at the Mt Annan Woolies carpark. I'd suggest about 8:30am? I'll be the shiny Silver Streak parked miles away from anyone else! :D

Anyone who wants to join us is more than welcome. Just let me know and we'll wait for you.

Still not sure what the Liverpool guys are doing? Should we try to meet up on the way, or just meet at the bottom of the mountain?

The McDonalds / Shell servo at Northmead is on BRIENS ROAD (Cumberland Hwy ) and it is easy to get in and out of, I can meet you there at say 0715-0730. From there we can head on to Liverpool -> M5 and meet Ken and the boys at Mt Annan Woolies.

Ken 24T, could you please confirm that we take the Narellan road exit then turn left at the second roundabout, then a right at the next one?

Yep, 2nd Campbelltown exit off freeway coming from Liverpool, under and up onto Narellan Road past Campus grounds on left, continue through 1 round-about at Tims Garden Centre, on to next round-about, turn left ... will see Shell on right, up to next round-about, turn right, straight through next round-about into car park. Woolies on right.

Just went for a short run down the freeway to check out a possible muster point. Not really anything suitable close to the Narellan Rd offramp.

So, I) do we want to go down the freeway ii) do we want to go via Appin Rd.,

We can pick a spot somewhere in Campbelltown area, e.g., Shell at Mt Annan, Woolies carpark Mt Annan ... I'm open to suggestions.

If we go down the freeway, it will be quicker to get to the meeting point at the bottom of Mt Osley. If we go Appin Rd., it will take longer, but probably more fun?

Whoever wants to meet at Morebank Maccers at 7:00 for a 7:20 sharp departure let me know.

It is on New Bridge Road, on the Citybound side of the road.

There are traffic lights there, so it is easy to get in and out.

The Toll Free M5 is 5 minutes away, so we can meet up with the Narellan people at 7:45 - 8:00 then head down the Hume and turn off to Wollongong at Picton Road.

Dont know if anyone has, or has access to, UHF CBs, but if you can borrow one from someone you know it would help us all stay in contact during the day. Also adds a lot of fun as everyone can be in constant communication during the drive. I have a UHF CB installed in mine permanantly, but even a 40 channel handheld would do the job.

I'll be on channel 39 all day long.

I only have a hand held for the time being though, so only got 8km's range...

Your earlier post mentioned a depart time of 0830. Is this still valid??

I wont get much more range than that at the moment. Only have a stubby 3 inches of aerial at the moment. /waits for Ken's comment/

Waiting until after I get the windows tinted to put on a proper glass mount antenna.
