Thanks for clearing that up Simon, I just never seen it like that before even on big horsepower cars they have always got blankets but it makes sense. Do you think that would be because blankets are just easier to fit or do they have any benifits at all over heatshielding?

ceramic coating is the shizz... stops heat coming into the engine bay and forces the heat out the back of car ( nb not recomended for turbo manifolds only DP back )

remember this is a STREET CAR not a quarter mile racer that is only switched on for 30 seconds.... a bag is more suitable for race cars.

heat shielding flows more air cooling the area and doesnt lock in heat causing damage to casts and bolts & what-not.

Bags may look cool, but they have a purpose... and its not for a "street driven" vechile.

Simon Gishus does, but I doubt that he'd tell you the exact spec. Nizpro have tested quite a few turbo combinations.

hey all I new to this site I have a xr6 turbo mk2 ute 6 speed.

thank for the help from nizpro it running there stage 4 motor and turbo setup and the boys at chiptouque at nerang for all the tuning it is pushing 498rwkw :stirthepot:
