Can I Get Around This

hi guys was just having a look at the ASL Logistics website-and in the FAQ I seen this

Q2. Does the DVD still play while driving ?

No. For saftey reasons our system will only display the DVD picture once the handbrake is engaged although sound can still be heard in any condition.

Can You get around this....or..

you cant watch it while driving, but you can still hear it, that's all you need, any distraction inside the car is bad, let alone with how most of us drive our cars, we need all the concentration we can get!

Put the wire that is ment to go to the handbrake to ground.

This is the trick you do with aftermarket units so I can't imagine it being any different here, unless there is no wire and Ford have done something funny.

I got the same setup from ASL in my car ... took it to Autobarn straight after and they fixed that problem!

aparently you have to get an extra few little wires that you have to add in there somewhere to get it to work while driving.

But I still think like aftermarkets you could just ground the handbrake wire

Just like fatsex said

connect the switch wire to ground

Keep in mind it's very obvious to the fuzz of a night time when you have video playing while moving - one of my mates got done only a few weeks ago :bash:

have a hidden switch as well, in case you get pulled over and the fuzz want to test it
