This is what we have been saying and that is why I did what I did so the public know the truth and not the lies that the QLD labour government have been telling us.

I even ask the premier if she would like one of her family members in one of these ambo,s and she did not reply.

I have just done aninterview for channel nine brisbane so to all you queensland members watch and have look at my ugly mug on telly.HAHA

As they say one person can't change the world but one person can start it off.

The commisoner is still not fully believing this.

That is he says that QLD has the best systems in place to manage these situition but he will not answer why it is still going on.

But at least the deputy commish is now visiting her station for the first time in 2 years today to talk to julie and her work mates.

Most of you guys don't realise that here in QLD the labour government charge us a levy on our power bills to pay for the ambulance service and have done for a number of years but the service has gone backwards and no one will say where the money is going.

On the power bill for the workshop I pay $102.00 a year and I think home is $50 a year.

We had reason to call the service for a possible cardiac episode about 18 months ago. 25 minutes from memory before the unit turned up. Next time I'll drive....

Its funny how ever since the election has been called both parties are throwing around multi billion dollar funding promises when our health system is in such a shamble. Its a FKN disgrace and questions should be asked by everyone as to why the publics tax dollars are being saved up by the government, just so they can buy votes with it when the health system is in crisis. Its downright negligent and a total sham. John Howard should should hang his head in shame, along with all the other state and federal pollies.

I live under 10mins from our local station... that's not at speed. We can wait over 45mins for a response, we have had two deaths recently that have both been over 45mins, and possibly different stories if the response was in the state standard 15mins (that's the standard time right?). Not the ambo's fault, but its a joke! My company has the contract for refurbing the SEQ Stations and we are currently doing around 12 at the moment... its a fat contract, its great that the stations are getting refitted, but I wonder if there is more money for staff and vehicles?

I still find it unbelievable that in todays society some f*cking income tax accountant can earn 100+k a year, and yet the people with the most responsibility, paramedics, police etc work stupidly large shifts, and often literily put there lives on the line for one of the smallest government wages.

Who do you think deserves the 100+K??

the assistant commisoner visited yesterday and had a meeting all that stations staff and has stated that they will not recieve any more staff but the minister has said in the paper today they will.

Typical righthand lefthand appease the public and hope it sinks under the radar before they have to make a conscious decision and do anything about it...

Funny that a polly comes out and makes a claim like that at this point in time....wonder how many points he got for the poll..

And what happens when we neglect to help those that are there to help us...
