Quick tip Simon - you'll find the easiest way to see around the A Pillar is to keep your drivers window down so you can duck your head out.

Enjoy it mate - very nice vehicle.

I would hope the VE handles better than a now 4 year old BA.

In fact I would of thought it would be better in all areas, except the engine of course.

A BF vs VE would of been a fairer comparison and when buying a car I would of thought it would of been an obvious thing to do...

What's the point of comparing a new car to your old car? Why not compare 2 new cars, and make your choice from there?

Or waited for orion to come out and get a new T then.

Thanks lads,

Like I previously said, it wasn't about speed or comparing the cars directly.

Merely offering feedback in case it helps anyone.

I can absolutely see myself coming back, the bigger picture is the Orion in a couple of years once the bugs have been worked out of the new model. Until that time, I will explore new horizons.

I like the bit in your first post where you say this post is not to debate the pro's and cons of either car, right before you go on to debate the pros and cons of both cars. I too have recently left the turbo fold, due to work circumstances I'm now driving a Territory Ghia and while it's a bloody nice car to drive I still miss my turbo :crybaby: I'll be back though just as soon as I have to go back to buying my own cars.

I doubt the bugs have been worked out of the VE yet. 'Commodore, the most recalls of any car on the Australian market!' :stirthepot:
