Donating Members 15,637 Member For: 18y 15d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 12/10/07 04:04 AM Share Posted 12/10/07 04:04 AM its the same price as the astra, with more features and a better car, it will definately sell, its not intended to sell as many as the normal focus anyway.50k for a Daewoo....Bah good luck Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38953-fpv-f6x/page/4/#findComment-583823 Share on other sites

ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 3m 27d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 12/10/07 07:29 AM Share Posted 12/10/07 07:29 AM Just got back from the SMS and I must say I was disapointed with the F6X and Evo X.The f6x is very similar to the TTG in all areas except for a few cosmetic things, brakes and motor. They have the same bar front and rear, same poxy tailpipes and a top mounted intercooler.I had a good chat with HAmo the FPV dealer from Penrith, he said that it was just a mockup and not the real production version. He did however say that there would not be much changed as they are low volume and would not warrant a tooling for font/rear bars. The 2 tone interior is not my taste, as with the vile embroidery. I did like the liquid metal ICC facia finish. All in all it looks like a 1/2 arsed effort by FPV to make a FPV territory out of off the shelf parts. They need to get a front mount, boost/oil pressure gauges and a changed f/r bar, to make it look different.I am glad I did not wait. As for the Evo X.... YAWNIt looks even more like a cheap Lancer. They have removed all the good bits from the concept like the agressive front, the LED's and the overall stance.I guess my last shot is the Nissan GTR. My mate who is dealer principal was on the stand and said he would give me first option "IF" they are available in Oz. He did indicate they would be, but it is not 100%. There then only ones that are improving each model. Sure the had a ruff patch around 2001 (bug eyes ) but all in all there gettin better. SV300 Member 53 Member For: 19y 7m 24d Location: Brisbane Posted 12/10/07 10:04 AM Share Posted 12/10/07 10:04 AM (edited) I was anticipating a more complete package, but really I must say the white car as displayed at th SMS looks lame.I would actually rather spend my money on a TT, althought the brakes would be good, but the TT already has an improved setup. The trim is also a bit much on the F6 X.I am looking at a car for the misses, but I might just get her a Outlander instead and save the money. One turbo is enough in the family.....James Edited 12/10/07 10:06 AM by SV300 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38953-fpv-f6x/page/4/#findComment-583950 Share on other sites
