just though id open up another topic, should be a interesting one! lol!

there has been a few people I beleive that have run a 10 sec pass with std internals, so obviously its possible with a std motor, but what bolt on mods do u think would be ideal to accomodate a 10 sec pass? lets all put aside now the std bottom end, and say we have a rebuilt motor with forged internals, (rods,pistons,bearings) etc, and a tough auto, so your motor and box are done including stall converter. what bolt on's do u think will accomodate the car to a 10 second pass? and keep in mind std plenum is a must!!!! dont mention plenum mods!!!! yes the tune and peak power would play a big role in this, but all im asking is ideas on what u guys think would be ideal bolt on mods!

Start with a BF with a 6 speed auto will come close with valve springs only, when the auto edit comes plenty of guys will be running 10's with Factory auto, diff and manifolds and plenum.

I still beleive the manual one day will cut it, but not for a while!

Some time back at Calder I seen a Nizpro Phantom Ute run 11.0 so close..
