:stupid: Took the beasty to the dealer for a few bits and pieces yesterday that needed doing. I picked it up this afternoon (with that horrid swish swish from the back brakes finally gone :ta: )the sales manager showed me the spec sheets for a limited edition F6 300 build with their own second number and wheel, suspension and brake upgrades more sporty interior etc but no power upgrade  .

There is also a GT being released for Bathurst making 302kW with the blue stripes etc, in limited numbers. Also got told there is a meeting in Perth with the dealers and FPV in the morning for pre release breakfast and briefing. Factory BF Cobra will be a nice looking car I reckon :blaah:

Exercise in propaganda, Throw a couple of bagdes and bits on a car and call it a limited edition. Its just ford trying to keep up interest time Orion gets here.

mmm interesting, wonder if they will become a collector or just another body kit and sticker option. Still, always liked the cobra styling.

I also heard the GT Cobra will be running a 302 cleveland and will retail for $150,000

FPV are releasing a Territory December build, January release...

The Typhoon will be the equivalant of the R-Spec GT already available...

March will see the Orion hit the showrooms....

They did make a few of the XC Cobras as Bathurst models with twin thermo fans etc and some more grunt, some were 302s and others 351s then a limited batch of higher output 351s

I am booked in for march for a drive in the GT and the F6..

I have also been told the F6 will not look exactly like the one shown in the magazines, that the vehicle shown is only concept..

Generally I find rebadging for sales bulls**t but at this stage in the curent life of the ba/bf Ford can add a badge and minor bits or anything as longs it creates interest & sells numbers!!! they really need to move as many units as they can before the orion comes out.

nice profile pic btw!
