hahaha on the shackle. I swear I had 2 but the other one had gone walkabouts. so I had to improvise

and yep full forged for this baby.

if this is a common occurence is there a fix? I was thinking of repairing thw wiring heatshrinking it and adding some heatproof tape.

I think it exploded in there cos there isnt much left of the rod/piston.. just a sh*t load of ittybitty pieces

Are you going to resuse that block form the looks of the photo you could get away with a sleeve in the bore.

nah the block is getting scrapped. as is everything in the bottom end.. I got a new block with forged pistons and billet rods to go in.

the complete head might go up for sale as it is undamaged

wooooot the new engine is in!!!!!! not yet operational bit um not worried, its only a matter of time (and $$$$) before shes up and running again.
