Or does it hinder airflow to the intercooler? Do they leave rub marks on the paint? Other option is put 5 coats of silicone based polish on the front, buy headlight/bonnet/fog light protectors? Looks a bit strange but it works well.Couple of lads taking it to the extreme.http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2918517 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/35924-car-bra-on-xr6t/#findComment-545996 Share on other sites

I used a bra on my last 2 T's with no adverse affects however you will need to buy some plastic headlight covers, if you don't the bra will scratch the plastic headlights. (you should have fog light covers but that's another story)Just make sure the front of the car is super clean before putting the bra on.Deek Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/35924-car-bra-on-xr6t/#findComment-546071 Share on other sites

The road is clean. Dont worry about a car bra. Your car will be fine. I always wax the front end before installing, to make sure it is prisine clean, and give the paint a bit of protection.
