got 18 x 275 rears but it bangs from the rear of the ute when I push it hard cant work out the noise is it the tranny or the traction control but when it happens the engine warning light comes on anyone got an idea to why this happens HELP NEEDED

Looks as though my trans is shot. 35000km on a stocker, the thing feels like it is trying to lock the torque convertor, but then unlocks about once per second. Still under warranty and it's at the dealers now. Be interesting to see what they tell me.

Nope, turns out the cooler on the block has ruptured mixing trans fluid and coolant. New trans and cooler go in tomorrow.

Well, got the car back with a new trans and cooler. Power Ford have never heard of this happening with the ZF box previously. Here's hoping it is a isolated case.
