Turbo Temps

Hey all. I have just had a new trans and radiator installed in my 03 XR6T. It still seems to run hot (engine) and it sure is a lot hotter under the bonnet when I check. I am comparing it to my wifes BA XT. Does the Turbo normally run hotter than the XT?

I thought they would have built them to show the same on the temp guage. Mine sits about between 1/4 and 1/2 mark on the guage ( engine temp guage)

on the temp gauge mine runs a tad below the 1/2 line, seems to be normal never goes up maybe on a real cool night it may be a little lower

Mine never goes past half but on a very hot day or after a long period of driving it will sit on half..... So I reckon its normal...

Mine used to run just under 1/2 but with cooler themostat runs just over 1/4 try here for a cooler thermostat - AWC thermostat
