And I really don't want to take my car back into ford. (tps and coils $300 later and still no change)on the diagnostics it says the "tsp not calobrating" I dont no what it means but ive been told the the tsp and your ecu are getting and sending the wrong readings eg if you to the floor with the pedal your ecu is reading that your at like 3/4 of the way on the pedal.I still havent taken it to ford due to being broke but ill be taking it to ford as soon as I get cash but if you find out what the problem is can you let me know please thanks, pete Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/33719-tps-problem/page/2/#findComment-516909 Share on other sites

Can you get the fault out of the ECU if you have an edit??MGThe fault codes should be the same with an edit. Unfortunately the problem doesn't always produce a fault code when reading the ECU. I'm having the problem and no fault codes came up when we diagnosed it. Even flashed it back to factory and still no fault codes being recorded. I read somewhere that you hold you foot flat when you start you car and the engine wont start then take you foot off than start it, its suppose to calibrate the tps not sure if this is true but the problem is gone now no more erratic rpm's Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/33719-tps-problem/page/2/#findComment-680954 Share on other sites
