Replacement Cooler

Hi guys...

This topic has probably been asked 1000 times but I couldnt find a post for it.

I have a 03 BA XR6T auto. It has a K@N and a CAPA flash tuner. It made 231 RWKW yesterday. I was told that the stock coolers flow crap and was hoping that someone may have a contact that supplies a bolt on replacement which will handle about 280rwkw.

There is a few direct bolt on replacement intercoolers that you can buy to do the job, some that come to mind are Process West stage 1 (check the forum sponsor section), PWR, ASE, Hyperflow, Capa, and Autotechnica M-Spec cooler. All depends on what you want to spend, as all these intercoolers shall do a good job of achieving the power you want. Or if you can get one a F6 Typhoon cooler (these tend to be overpriced for the job they do)

there are a few wog cooler about 470 pwr cooler 900 there are a few others these are the only ones I know

Get the wog cooler aka MONZA cooler best bang for ya buck and bolts up staight to the standed pipe work.

The hot day Yesterday with the stock Cooler would have given you a lower figure.

Process West do a great lookin cooler with 2 piping options costing from $850-$1000.

Monza (wog) cooler like Dats fit up real easy & depending on where you get them are from $470-$550 also do a great job.

I have bought a wog cooler but haven't fitted it yet. I have simens injectors,2nd CAI and edit. What power should I expect? and how will the car go differently?

I've got an ASE cooler, I couldn't be happier with it...

In saying that I think I'd go the Process West cooler kit if ihad to buy one now.
