agree totally, but 17k's vs 45k's is a big difference, you will realise capital growth out there, but im not sure it will be as strong as samford, in real $ atleast.

sh*t house mate, you have done your dough.

realistically, not bad but it depends on how much you paid for the block because there is usually not a huge variation in the actual house price. That far from the city the best bet is to purchase/build a lifestyle home (like shock has done big block etc) The biggest problem out there is the actual infastructure (no trains etc)but as more people move out maybe it will come. I personally like the 7-12 k radius on the north side. Northgate, nundah everton pk etc. Still not massively overpriced and some larger blocks available. You will realise profit on your place with out to many problems, so its a fairly safe bet.

Scotty, if you need window tints, I am sure al - cooltint would have an excellent contact, PM me if you want his number

I'm a great fan of Bunya Lakes as well - but it's not somewhere you'd want to be if there's bushfires around.

And Shocker untwist your knickers, I realise it's for investment - and think it's a wise move. It's the new trend to move on to little hobby farms so hopefully you'll have a good little profit in a few years time :crybaby:

Cheers mate, I take it he is out of the tinting business? or has moved. I got a quote today to see what I was up for.

540 Sq feet dark tint I mean dark $3000.00, oh yeah that included the missuses Nissan Patrol, a gimick I know but hey we always thought about it just never did it.

If I can any work that needs to be done I will offer to the guys and gals on the forum first.

When you speak with Al, Blonk say gudday for me.

Cheers Scotty

Scotty,

5-50 a square metre all you will get is a dodgy effort....

I will contact Al cause you can save big dollars on your power b ill and your eyes, longevity etc just by knowing a few simple tips about tinting... He will call you in a couple of days.. Talk to him before you do the tint business.......

Cheers mate, I have included the link to the guys that gave us the quote, I cannot for the life off me remember the name of the tint, but it is dark and the one that is supposed to block%79 of heat.
