Even though I use a sunshade on my windscreen when I park inthe sun sometimes I find the sun hits my drivers seat at certain angles and makes it bloody hot, even though I have tint.

I dunno if its feasible for Ford to offer other things but Im getting a bit over black. WOuldnt mind a tan or white or grey interior. Personally Id go a bit over the top and would like a white leather set up. :stupid:

Am I alone?

I agree with you... black isn't very adventurous.

There is a company in Melbourne who do OEM interiors for different makes including Ford called Blackman and Sons, and they can supply pretty much any colour that you would like and at a good price. Last time I was there it was $2200 for front and back seats and door trims.

Not bad I reckon.

Here is a link to their website.

Don't know about white. That might be a bit hard to keep clean :stupid:

Leather is easy to clean, hard to get it dirty. Takes years to get it dirty, just need to take care of it.

Cant wait till I get my next lounge - white leather here I come!

White is sorta european. Don't they use it a lot in there BM's and Merc's? It would add class as would grey....I think you can only get tan seats if they are bench. :stupid:

Cheers

Im sure Ive seen Libertys and various euro makes with tan interiors - not bad I reckon.

Black just gets too damn hot at times due to the sun!

I agree 100%

Nothing quite like sitting down on the leather seats after the sun has been blazing through the windows :spoton:

The interior colour would make very little difference.

HAving direct sun on white leather would make it just as hot as black leather.

I remember a test they did with the car colour and had all the colours and worked out that identicle cars in black and white, the balck was only 4deg C warmer than white and the interior temp was 50deg C.

BLACK RULES :spoton:
