Xr8 -> Xr6t

PPl I'm a noob here.

Just decided to "CROSS" grade from an 8 to a 6T.

Just need to know if its an OK deal.

Old:

BA 2003 XR8, Phantom, 5speed, Premium Sound with 39500klms

Trade In $21500

New:

2006 Plated BF II XR6T, 6SP auto, hole in the roof, Premium sound, tint & tow bar

$42600 Driveaway.

I reckon you are being ripped big time on the trade price. Price for the T sounds OK.

As said above, I think that the trade price is too low especially considering the amount of k's you have only done.

Either get them to knock a few grand off the T or up the trade price. If they wont just walk away and find one elsewhere.

The XR8 has a build date of DEC 2002 (One of the first ones down the line). It has had 7 diffs in it, 2 tail shafts, fuel pump, radiator. I've had enough of the niggly little probs.

BTW is just on it's 2nd set of tyres. No burnouts here.

Whats a few grand for piece of mind. I'll be glad to see the back of it.......

but I will miss that sweet BOSS noise..

I paid $45290 for an 07 XR6 T with luxury Pack passanger airbag heavy duty towbar XR Mats iPod cable and a Parrot blue tooth and tint.

The price for the 06 plate seems a bit high. and the trade a bit low.

Make them try harder.

The prices arent too bad.. Im sure you could wrangle a few more $$ for the trade in.. If not, ask for lots of freebies.. mats, scuff plates and all that other garbage.
