I was able to get the bonnet open by using a pair of pliers to grab the end of the cable (inside the car)......Haven't actually got around to fixing it yet though.It didn't initially feel like the cable had become unattached and I thought something must have been jammed. Pliers will do it or else you need to get the lug thing back into the lever. A rather akward place to work in know.Just another desing fault hey!
