I have the JBL sub and speakers with a 5 channel DSL amp, MUCH BETTER!!!Runs off the factory head unit (plus I have a dvd player in the Aux) and sounds very good for what it is. Lots of bass available if you want it after that.←Thanks. So that's the jbl sub that's a drop in replacement? I've read plenty of good things about DSL; what sort of money and what's the RMS power rating?

They didn't complain so I'm sure it was easy for them.DSL do make good stuff. Mine is the classic series 5 channel amp, which runs a conservative 50wx4 & 150wx1 from memory. Has auto power on and high level inputs.
