How strong is the 06 Territory T engine? Is it the same as a XR6 T of the same year? Does it have better rods than the original XR6T? How many RWKW is the bottom end good for?

I imagine that it would be the same as the 06 BF XR6T engine... same as BA F6,

The tranny is another thing... hooking up 4wd will be far more stressful than being hooked up RWD only...

I would have to agree. I would say exactly the same as the XR6 Turbo / F6 Typhoon. It's the same engine as far as I'm aware. Not sure how much the intercooler can cope with though.

Disagree with tranny argument there. Torque is spread over 4 wheels and two diffs so it should be able to handle more than XR6T.

They make a really unique sound when they hit the limit!!!

Just keep modding till you hear the sound!!

Yes but when allot of power starts to be produced via mods allot more stress is put on the gearbox. For example when taking off on full throttle a rwd car will spin the wheels which in turn puts less strain on the driveline cause the wheels have no traction the same setup but in a 4wd car puts the full stress of that take off on the driveline for allot longer because it is less likely to spin the wheels and put the full strain of 300rwkw on the gearbox for a longer period of time because the wheels aren’t spinning.

Just listen closely for the sound!!

Just look at all the other 4wd performance cars like evo's wrx's and gtr's when they are modded the tranny is on borrowed time they are always braking them
