Hi, Who's put on a FMIC for their TTG or TT? I've seen Nizpro, APS, Process West, Plazmaman etc. I just want an improvement over factory for better efficiency, not BIG BIG power.

OK, have now aquired flash box. Ready for tune only at APE in Adelaide on their AWD1000 Mainline dyno. Have F6 intake box and debunged exhaust aleady. 10psi tune, or whatever is safe using stock injectors/fuel pump (bigger injectors/pump etc when warrantee runs out). Any recommendations?

OK, been searching this forum but can't believe no one has talked about the benefit of a K&N (or BMC etc) flat panel filter over factory filter at various power levels. Many workshops recommend replacing filter. I'm after incremental flow restriction benefits, when I go to an EDIT kit for my TTG, to maximise gains and want to know if it's worth my while buying aftermarket panel filter for factory box? (current mods are F6 snorkle and exhaust bung removed) Cheers.

~300fwkW. It's not a % loss as many people say, it's fixed based on drive train "size" no matter what power you are producing. XR6T would have ~50kW loss through drive train, add further 10-15% for AWD.

G'Day DJ, I've bought the F6 snorkel etc but have not installed it. I have decided to install this when I get the thing tuned with a CAPA flash box, and this will only occur when I've done the 15k service and also when I've paid off the car. So some time away. Have you got an engine check light issue with your CAI??

Yeah grepin, don't get carried away. I remember Zoom article with Martin D, he tested XR6T with and without factory airbox, 185rwkW vs 204rwkW. grepin's has 2nd CAI so 212rwkW is not that silly.

What's HP Tuners or the VCM Suite? Is that different hardware & software to the SCT units?

I'm loving mine. Surprising speed from 2.2t. I get 16l/100 on ave. to and from work.

Territory Turbo is great. Package is no different from normal Territory and hence a top family mover + off road ability far greater than normal Aussie sedan but not quite 4WD capability, which in all reality what most people need. But straight line go is very suprising for 2.2t beast. Handles really well for what is it but it's no Skyline or Rex or even XR6T. Only things that come close are BMW X5 with it's biggest motor or POrsche 4WD or Merc M class, but they are $100k+ dearer!

I'm new to the Ford Turbo scene as well in Adelaide (now have Territory Turbo). How about Graham West Auto, on Marion Rd? I had a chat with the proprietor and he's seems pretty switched on compared to others re Ford Turbo tuing. Obviously he has 4WD dyno as well which sways me. Anyone been there?

So has anyone experienced overboosting with no cat or very high flow cat? If so what boost?

Disagree with tranny argument there. Torque is spread over 4 wheels and two diffs so it should be able to handle more than XR6T.

Any kits available for Territory Turbos? Front mount a better option than the factory top mount.
