I think the media, once again, has overated an incident whereas a breach or indescrepancy of regulations or outcome was being investigated and without resolution prematurely made an announcement..

This is a good thing if your a bush, a great thing for publicity for any other event..

Money speaks and if you can involve interested parties that too have cash at stake all the better,.....

Like Dags said....... Shhhhhh.......

You know who you are !!!!!!!!!

Probably just a ploy to take the heat off. What better way to tell the other teams that the issue of ownership has been addressed by staging a fake ban, then reversing it because it has all been resolved, cough, cough  .

The Toll/HSV cheating has become so brazen that next well see them awarded wins without having to race.

Oh well, you know the old Expensive Daewoo motorsport saying, cheat on Sunday, lie on Monday.

Bloody Walkinshaw..... I knew when he took over HRT a while back that there'd be trouble.

A few years ago when he was involved with one of the lower F1 teams there was some form of a fracas which ended up being heard at the FIA Appeals court in Paris.

I remember the judge describing old Tom as being an "unscrupulous", "shady" and "unreliable" witness who's business practices "left a lot to be desired".

He had a habit of accumulating debts, ( Cosworth being a prime example)transferring the assets to another company then bankrupting and liquidating the first one to avoid having to pay up.

Must admit, I did have a smile on my face when I heard he bought into HRT. :spoton:

Much as I dislike Skaifey, I feel sorry for him having to be involved with someone like Wankinshaw.

Anybody heard any more on this. I was told today that while the TollHSV team have been reinstated, that the HRT team have been given a 4 meeting ban effective as of the first round. This came from someone working on the engineering for the Adelaide event.

I just checked on the www.v8supercars.com.au website and they still say that they will be taking their place on the starting grid in a couple of weeks, so if there are new developments, they haven't been put up there yet.
