just some early fuel data.

Latest LPG figures were 12.7l/100 over a mixed (mainly highway) stretch. So at our prices that's about $8 per 100k's, at Melbourne prices it would be more like $4.90 per 100 k's.

Yes the tank goes on the right hand side oppisite the fuel tank just needs the exhaust modified to fit it.

With the au ghia it would turn off automatically when running on lpg as the computor would sense that the injectors are not pulsing and this how traction control worked on the au.

With the new injected systems this is not the case as the gas computor gets it's injector pulse from the engine computor and modifies it to suit the gas injectors.

The engine computor still thinks every thing is operating.

Also part of the traction control on the ba's is done though the abs unit.

Just an update - car is great on LPG, am getting about 13l/100 on LPG. I will be ramping it up a little soon with an F6 cooler, bigger LPG injectors and a new tune.

Is it possible to fit a donut tank in the spare wheel well on the XR6T? If I do this I want full boot space. Don't need the spare wheel. Havn't used one for donkeys years.

What capacity is possible with a donut tank?
