in vic, the law stands for 3 years from the first offence..

either way

I got my car back today.. no damage, no KM's on the ODO.. although the centre cap from the front left wheel is missing... considering the dust in there, I think I overlooked that on the night.. (heck it was dark)...

The guys there gave me details on where to send it in writing, and they will investigate..

When I speak to the copper about my summons, I'm going to get him to look at the photos he took to confirm if it was there or not..

You'll spend a good part of the day in an open court where you will see just how stupid our justice system is... People possesing drugs getting off with a $200 fine, assault $250 fine. Yet you lose traction for a brief second and you get your car impounded and a decent fine ($350 in my case).

I couldn't give a sh!t what anyone else says, the laws are pure crap.

All the best Headsex. Don't lose sleep over something so petty.

thinkin about it, 3 years is a rediculous amount of time for something to be held against you!

3 years ago I was a 'menace' doin stupid sh*t in my commo all weekend..

I would hate to think that can still bite me now,1 degree and a steady office job later if I were to spin the tyres in the wet ffs. 3 months without a car? ott if you ask me..

I think he dumped it and let it rip for a reason. It was no brief loss of traction due to momentary inattention.
