I doubt that is a genuine letter from Rick.

He wouldn't put his personal Email address at the bottom (especially considdering Holden, HSV, Toll and his own site have removed all Email contact areas after the incident).

The comments are too controversial and there's no way he'd attach the tissue box image.

On another not, I actually got a reply to my complaint to AVESCO about the incident. It's just the usual, palm it off crap:

Thank you for your email. We have been inundated with feedback regarding

the incident between Rick Kelly and Craig Lowndes.

In two separate investigations into this incident, the Investigating and

Prosecuting Officer and then a subsequent hearing by the CAMS stewards

found that the Triple Eight Racing protest be dismissed. On both of

those occasions an enormous amount of evidence and data was presented.

V8 Supercars understands the passion of our fans but in relation to the

Lowndes/Kelly incident, all the evidence was considered and the proper

judicial processes within the rules of the sport were followed.

feedback: If Rick Kelly is allowed to win a championship in this manner,

then what little integrity AVESCO has left will be wiped out. Not only

were his Walkinshaw team cronies picked up for blocking and holding

Lowndes up (who did not in turn punt them off the track), but Kelly has

been allowed to (provissionally) win a championship off the back of

crashing into his rival. A stop go penalty is evidence enough that

Kelly did the wrong thing. When a championship is at stake, a stop go

is not enough when the victim and potential champion is esenntially

taken out.

Why is it on the Toll website then???

That is clearly fake.

Anyone that was there would of clearly seen that Kelly never had the speed on Lowndes all weekend.

Just sent the little cheat an email.

I was polit and just told him the the word champion should not be used in the same sentence as a description of him.

Also said the lsat decent Expensive Daewoo driver would be turning in his grave at the way he won the title.
