Yeah I thought so, I rang today and the best they could do was $37000 drive away, premium sound, FPV wheel, fpv mats, Auto in any colour I want.

So offically I have the best price ATM.

Yep, I told you that price was BS.

As to which way to jump between the F6 and the T it depends what you can get an F6 for through employee. The FPV discount isn't as big a ford one I'm told. I bought mine through employee and haven't looked back since, either way you can't go wrong :wacko:

Jbomb best price I got was 51k typhoon with Auto and 19's City Ford, but further discounts are coming out in a months time.

Strapp Ford still have a FEb or March build BA typhoon Manual sitting on their showroom floor and they cant sell it, they have thrown rebates from everywhere at it and still cant sell it. Price will be 42-44k prob cheaper for a walk in off the street person, its lighting strike colour maybe cheaper for employee.

I'd go for the XR6, 15k is a bit over a 40% increased over the T to go to a F6. Sure the F6 is good but personally I couldn't justify the extra. As I said though I'm sure you won't be disappointed whatever you choose.

A few guys at work have the F6 - they think it's a little hardcorde for a daily driver. I actually haven't driven one as yet - but used to kick about in a Skyline which was a bit too stiff for comfortable daily driving too - so I imagine your F6 is along those lines..but if you not after comfort got for it!

After driving a Xr6 turbo at the dealer yesterday for comparsion sakes, it was a 06 with leather, 18's auto turbo, it was the miss's the salesman and myself. Took it for a 10 min drive and when I pulled up at the lights the thing was idling funny you could see the rev needle fluctuating up and down and the car could be felt shaking, this is a brand new car with 60 km on the clock.

The typhoon I had for 24 hour test drive and my cuzins one that I had for a week, took a bootful from me and the miss's and never did any shaking like the xr did in 10mins. After driving the f6 for 10hours straight, all hard thrashing driving it was ready for more and more.

My previous xr6 turbo also shaked on idle, the chassis could be felt going left to right when at the lights.

I think I have made my mind up, BF F6 Typhoon.

Im looking at spending a fair amount of money on a new bf and they give me the 'no way, nobody does that' bs story!!

Plus anyone know their cost price on xr6/f6 as I was looking at a few cars n they are tellng me they cant drop a cent off the ticket price which I feel is a disgrace when its a fkn runout.

City Ford here in Sydney, will knock 10K off the retail price of the XR8, just to get rid of there floor stock. There been sitting there for months, so its about low 40K driveaway, with some other options here and there, like leather at no extra cost, but the dealership principle wont do this deal on the T's. Says there still too popular.
