I am sorry guys call me astooge but I cannot and will not agree with you play you pay philosiphy on a mildy moddified car. When it is common knowledge that Ford cut corners and dont build the cars they should, and then act like asses when they are called on it.

My 2c.

Absolute sh*t.... Ford build cars to a standard spec ie. A4 = 450mn torque rating, same as engine output. Why the f*ck should they honour your modded beast ??

As posted earlier in the thread I got denied on a a clutch claim despite an "understanding" . Am I all bitter about it no, the clutch was not designed to handle 300+rwkw. Called, yep .Hope of winning the fight nup.

Grow up you are being naive in the extreme.Yeah right build me a warrented bullet

proof car that can take "mild mods"... If that was the case they would sell 'em like that new.

Read the farking manual you fool..... cant get much clearer than f*cking black n white :stirthepot:

Yes, but what if it was something like the infamous first batch of phoon clutches? Doomed from the beginning and bound to f*ck up regardless of the kw you're pushing out - so if you had an edit in when it gave away would you expect a warranty replacement?

I generally agree with the "you play, you pay" philosophy, but like Goobz just mentioned it's never clear shades of black and white

Absolutely agree. There are always two sides to any story and it is no secret that Ford can be a pack of \|/ s when it comes to warranty even on stockies.

But where the possibility exits of the threshhold of stock components being exceeded due to increased power from mods you cannot rightfully expect any joy. :spoton:

As for the Phoon clutches they were all warranted via recall, so you would have got your 20 cent clips regardless, without any great expense to Ford

Mate taking a sentence or two out of the post, does not do what I wrote justice. So there is no point getting bent around the axles and worked up. From where I stand we are coming from this with different perspectives.

I know I am deflecting here, but the bloke in the NT who now owns an EVO (sorry mate your name will come to me), his four turbos Stooge or no Stooge? Inceesant diff clunk when there is a known fix, and we are now on the forth model.

Another scenario, the cars that blew up when crashed due to a sh*tty part, and the car manufactuer decide it was cheaper to settle law suits than recall and rectify known fault.

I love my Fords, but do I love Ford? No f*cking way.

Sorry but I cannot understand your passion and loyalty to the Car Company. I can however to the cars.
