September 19, 200620 yr #1 In Geelong today spotted a black xr6 turbo by the looks of it, the badges on the back where covered in black tape but evident it was a turbo by the badge. Front black covering over the lights and grill and bumpers.1. Typhoon gauges inside the car.2. Some racing bucket seats and a roll cage. Guy had a laptop that he was using, car came out of the geelong FORD plant. Had BA 18ins on it, Ba back lights. I got a few shots on my phone but you cant see anything good. September 19, 200620 yr #2 Good spot, bout time they put some boost/oil pressure guages in the Ts! But I bet they are just as useless, okay not entirely useless but not far from it, as the ones in our F6s!
September 20, 200620 yr #3 Probably just the run of the mill test mule. I used to see them all the time back home from a variety of auto manufacturers. I was always curious though what was being road tested though.
September 20, 200620 yr #4 May have been one of the car fitted with the updated Orion drivetrain and underpinnings, there are a few kicking around. Apparently the pre-production bodied cars will be around late in the year / early next year, so keep an eye out for those !! I saw some info saying styling cues have been taken from the Mondeo in the UK. If that's the case the new Falcon is going to look hot !!Robin.
