I have a lightning strike ute with polished ladder racks on the back. Standard mk1 rims. I ask about elite as they are the closest to me. A lot easier than giong out to redcliffe. Although if push comes to shove I only want someone who knows what they are doing and I'm hearing only good things baout steve at RDPBut will see what happens. Hopfully in a years time the lads at Elite will be sufficiently proficient with the SCT software:)←I wouldnt worry about waiting a year mate, if you want the edit, Paul @Elite is already proficient with it. I have been in some of the cars he's done with it and they are very well tuned. If you are looking at an interceptor style unit, Steve's RDP unit is the way to go as well as Steve being a top tuner. So there are choices mate. You are right also, once the bug bites, its all over. Just on a side note, I have an RDP unit which I think is great, but if I had of chosen an edit, Paul would be the one looking after it.CheersJeff Edited 10/11/06 04:28 AM by Phoon Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/27753-brisbane-tuner/page/2/#findComment-462527 Share on other sites

(muffler removed, and CAPA 10psi tune)I called Paul from Elite Automotive on Wednesday,to see what his prices were and what type of results I would expect from my stock car.All I can say is Paul knows his stuff,He spent a long time on the phone with me explaining all different mods and prices.I booked the T in for the next day at 0930,Paul drove me back to my work in his yellow xr6t (330rwkw approx)Holy sh*t did it move, the pulling power from his car was a thing I have never experianced before)At 3:30pm I was called to say my car was finished, the car was now producing 263.0rwkw (352.7 rwhp)The before runs are as follows1/ stock tune 190rwkws2/ 10psi CAPA generic tune 215rwkws3/ After custom tune 263rwkwsSo the proof is in the pudding, apart from Paul being a great guy and having great customer service skills he also knows how to tune a Tee.The are only 2 negative things I can say at this time.1/ I wish it pulled as hard as Pauls Tee ($$$$$) which I dont have YET2/ The idle sometimes drops and stalls when stopping (Paul has already called me this morning to see how my car went, and has aslked me to bring the car back to check the idle (for free)I will leave it a couple of days to see if the ECU is doing a idle re-learn.I could not be more happy with the results and the way the car pulls now.I would definatly recomend Paul (Elite Automotive) As my car is stock and would kick a HSV's ASSSorry for the long post, but we in Brisbane need genuine feedback for tuners up here.Cheers Edited 10/11/06 04:31 AM by cv8z Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/27753-brisbane-tuner/page/2/#findComment-462529 Share on other sites
