Hey guys...

If you have a look at my signature it says 12 weeks blah, blah... well I've been off work on workcover for the last 3 months, I won't go in to it in detail as it's boring but I've basically been off my feet for the last 12 weeks and obviously with that have been getting slowly (even more) unfit and lazy... and fat than I already was!! And I have had enough...

Now I don't have the most difficult job going around being a truck driver and so I decided that it's time to do something about it...

I've set the start date for my membership for 2 weeks from today, as I'm still learning to walk correctly again after my workcover injury and I still don't have a clearance to go back to work until next monday... and I haven't worn shoes for 3 months so that's going to take some getting used to as well.

I'm pretty excited about going to the gym, I think it's going to be good fun and great for me!!

Anyone else a member of a gym? How have you found it? How often do you go?

Jack :tease:

That's great Jack!

I've got to get into the gym and pool for the opposite reasons.

I need to put on muscle around my back to strengthen it, I figure I might aswell work on everything else while I'm at it. :bush:

good on ya mate, you will feel way better than ever once you get into the routine. I myself go to gym, try to 6 days a week, but it usually ends up being 2 or 3  once you start you cant stop

Cheers boys!

I'm going to go on my way home from work... I made sure that the place I join is on my way home, so I'm even less inclined to aviod it as it's already on the way :msm:

On ya Jack way to go don`t forget to get the phone no.s of all the hot chicks your going to meet.

Seriously though, If you can find someone that will go to the gym with you that will make sure you stick with it .Even if you make a new friend at the gym.

Your more likely to stick withit if you have a training partner.

I went for 5 years. there was 6 of us first year 2 left 4 of us, 2nd year 2 left 2 of us, 3rd year my mate left and it was only me for the last 2 years. But at least by that time I had made alot of friends there.
