Has anyone had the capa kit fitted and if so how does it perform, im trying to decide between APS and capa any info would be appreciated

cheers

I had the CAPA 8-9 psi kit fitted as one of the first customers back in May, and apart from some minor adjustment issues, it works very well.

The most important issue for me in selecting CAPA, is that they are boost specialists, and as such probably understand better than other companies, the consequenses of increasing the boost on the XR6T.

Since sorting out the adjustment issues, I can run 8.5 - 9 psi boost reliably, and the car feels a lot stronger than standard.

davoWA, thanks for that info, took the front grill off to have a look, and bugger me there is an oil cooler, a pipe with fins on it.I think Ill just leave things alone for now and change to synthetic at the 15k service. Do you have a favorite drop to recomend, thanks vik.

That could be the transmission cooler if you ordered the car with a towbar.

I use Castrol Formula R 10w/60.

The second cooler at the top is a second power steering cooler on the turbo's as the n/a's do not have it. I checked it yesturday.
