14/06/06 02:43 AM14/06/06 02:43 AM #23 We have a BOV that vents back into the system. BOV that vent into the atmosphere would be the illegal ones.

14/06/06 04:14 AM14/06/06 04:14 AM #26 AFAIK, Technically BOV's are ONLY the ones that vent air to the atmoshere. The standard fitment on out T's are actually CBV's (compressor bypass valve). CBV's are legal. 100% atmo BOV's can get you a fine.
14/06/06 08:25 AM14/06/06 08:25 AM #27 Author every1 else markets them as plumb back blow of valves and I never heard of the term compressor bypass valve, maybe that's why ford had nfi wat I was on about
14/06/06 12:24 PM14/06/06 12:24 PM #28 If I drop my car off for a service or to resolve some issue, I usually ring up twice during the day to ask Ford if they have any issues with my car that I should know about or need to make a decision on. After dropping it off at about 7:30am, I usually ring about 1pm and then again just before the agreed pick up time.←And does this change anything.........? better service???←I just like to find out if they have any issues. I sort of think it keeps them on their toes a bit if I'm actively chasing up status. Other thing is, I'm wondering if the FordXR6Turbo sticker on my window has any affect on the service department. I'm sort of hoping it encourages them to do a good job considering some of the bad PR they get on this forum. On the other hand, I'm dreading they'll do the "spit in customer's soup" trick, but I doubt that - that's not ethical.←no it will just give them an excuse to look here and see whats written and to use it against u if u have a claim
