People who work with radiation are known to only produce girls cos their boy taddies can't swim properly. I would say there is a bigger risk with their eyes though since it's above the dash.

They are all mounted on the dash, just inside the A pillar. I dont know what you have seen, but some private companies do also do stories wtih the media and this may be what you saw.In addition, other state and territories are still known to affix there radar devices on the outside of the rear passenger window, even on there unmarked cars. The NSW police SOP manual says they must be behind and 60cm from the officer. So technically all the window mounted units are in contradiction of the rules.LIDAR (laser) - is invisable light and is harmful if you looked directly intot he lense. I do not know the long term effect of the officer, but I am sure it it would not be healthy.

Also my wife told me on her return that the girl inside was telling everyone that the white car was a police vehicle & be carefull, not realizing that the wallopers were standing at one end where she wasn't looking !
