I've been there but decided to get a man's car instead.

I've got an Mk1 04 T Ute.  I think I've been lucky that my only major problem was some minor brake shudder which is now no more.

Put in the nexus guages and a K & N filter and sweet

Love the Mk1 Ute

just need to find a competent wheel alignment mob that'll get the damn steering wheel the sit straight

Yeh ive had this problem before, who do you get to do your wheel allignments? Tried bob Jane at springwood?

try jax, they have been very good for my wheels alignments in the past

Ive had my ute for 2 and a half years. Had a dodgy door seal..fixed under waranty,dodgy starter motor....fix under waranty....dodgy xr6 decals replaced under waranty.....i've given the poor thing an absolute pissling since ive owned it and i absolutly love it....cant say enought good things about it.....there nothing quite like blowing away a 5.7 ltr commonwhore away at the lights with a couple of fridges or a bookcase etc in the tray...they looks on the holden drivers faces is truly priceless.....

Yep agree with the comments above. I've had my mk1 '03 t for 6 months now after getting sick of my slow Lexus. This car is the best bang for buck ever and how easy is it to transform the performance with Edit!!!!

No major issues with fit or finish or blowing anything up and it's got 97,000 kms on the clock. I am gonna thrash it for another few years....

I agree with the above. I got mine in August 03, yeah Ive had most of the known problems, stalling, brake shudder, clunking diff, broken interior trim, leaking water pump etc. but every one of them have been repaired/replaced under warranty never any argument. Currently 88,000kms done a number of long distance trips and it has never let me down.

As far as I am concerned my T is the best car I have ever owned and I have had a few over the years.
