I'm going to install mine tomorrow and I need a 12v source for the oil pressure gauge. should I be buying 'special' wire for the engine bay so it doesnt melt? Kaine←Pop the shifter cover off (not sure how with auto ) , unscrew the 2 small side pieces pull them out then unscrew the tissue box holder, pull it forward and the cig wiring's on the left.

Took the ICC out to run the wires from the cig lighter, worked out well as the dash illumination could also pull from this point.Gauges are hooked up and lights work, now all I need to do is connect the t-peice to the BOV..So just to confirm, where exactly does it plug into? Thought this was going to be an easy mod but dammn wish I paid someone to do it!!Any help appreciated,ThanksKaine

cobrav8 Member 1,969 Member For: 21y 6m Gender: Male Location: New Zealand Posted 23/04/06 09:56 PM Posted 23/04/06 09:56 PM Here is a picture of my installation.I did a couple of mods to the mod yesterday - added a switch for the mixture gauge so it can be switched off, and a 12volt power socket (for either a radar detector or a g-meter thingy)I also added some stainless bolts, as I didnt like the cheapness of self tapping screws. Not sure if these look better or not?I ended up using the back one of the screw/bolt holes to put the 12volt socket (the back is held tight with the boost fitting anyway).
