Looks good. Knowing Toyota, the quality will be second to none. I dare say, the majority of people who purchase a large Australian sedan wouldn't be able to tell the difference in dynamics between FWD and RWD. It's different for the enthusiasts who drive 'performance' models such as the XR and SS.

The majority of cars will be exported anyway so there would be no point developing RWD just for the small Australian market. I'm suprised they didn't show a new Camry at Melbourne...

Here's one for ya...I beleive the 323L (Aurion) shares the same floorpan as the Kluger which is under consideration for production in Australia. Picture a TRD 230kw AWD Aurion....Maybe one day....

What took my interest, apart from the looks, is that Toyota will be bringing out a 250kW supercharged version I read in The Sun on Friday. That's taking it to Ford and Holden. Like it was said earlier in this thread, the quality is bound to be better. Guess will have to see it in the flesh, read the reviews and give it a drive to find out more.
