February 3, 200620 yr #1 hey guys, how many of you use triptronic mode most of the time? I have been using it heaps lately and I am thinking whether this is bad on the gearbox as shifts are not very smooth and I get more clunks then normal (only in a ford you would call clunks normal )how many of you also have fitted a gearbox cooler? I am loking to fit one.thanks

February 3, 200620 yr #4 I asked the same question a while back and the majority of the answers were that it would be ok. I do not think that they would put a tiptronic gearbox there if using it would stuff it.if you like using it, go for it.
