option 2...

RAPID is by far the toughest looking colour.... it stands out a mile away and people can tell what is coming :gooff:

have seen a shockwave and a grey phoon one on the road... and unfortunately you cant really tell its a phoon until they are close up..... with the RAPID, you can tell what it is a mile away... that colour against all the black lines of the front and the intercooler makes it look like one tough machine :gooff:

Go option 1. A 2006 plate is not worth the extra $2500 and you can get it now. Go the shockwave every second F6 you see is rapid.

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the feedback, now I'm even more confused.

The latest development is a reduced price to encourage me into option 3 as he has someone else interested in option 1. I'm now looking at $58,400 drive away for option 3.

If only I could find some way of getting rid of the 19's for the dealer, then it comes back to $56,000 for option 3. Anyone want to buy a set of genuine FPV Typhoon wheels?

You see the problem is that if the dealer brings another car into his yard and swaps the only set of 18's he has off one of his in stock cars onto that car then he's got two cars left with only 19's to offer people and guess what, people are baulking at paying the extra money for the bigger wheels.

As I said to him today if they were more realisticaly priced, say $1,500 to $2,000 (including LCT) he wouldn't have this problem.

Don't get me wrong I love the 19's I just have a hard time justifying the $3,000 extra expense.

I rang the spare parts dept. today to enquire as to the difference in cost between 18" and 19" just in case I bent one and guess what they're the same price $762 each, considering there's about $400-500 difference in price for the respective set of tyres that means Ford Australia are shafting me to the tune of $2000 over the replacement cost, (what a rip-off).

I rang the guys at Wheelking hoping they could help me out but they quoted me $5,500 for the Typhoon 19's.

Any suggestions gladly accepted, I'm running out of time and the dealer is closing in on me. HELP!!

Big AL
