When done properly with a tuna that knows what they are doing and know the product eg,know what knock sensors do,and have a fixed dyno,live in the same state as you do,and if you run your car in tough from day one,you get good results

I cannot understand why you are trying to measure a general consensis when there are So many varibles you cannot comapre with anyone.

We know each car has different tolerances, this has been proved time and time again with up to 40rwkw difference in some cars stock. Different dyno's give different readings so that's why they should only be used as a measuring tool against your own car as you do different mods. I have had dynos give variances of 30rwkw.

As Vik has already stated different tuners get different results coupled with what they come accross with each T being different.

Personally you cannot compare what you have achieved with the edit against someone else. The only way to have some fun with this senerio would be to load a generic Capa Tune into two different stock T's and run them against each other down the qtr. That's about the closet you will come to measuring your gains against someone else.

Knowing the what without understanding the how or why makes this a curious exercise in itself and therein I hold the same view as JB. Use the search function and/or examine some of the signatures those will like give you a result of the smae order of efficacy.

My experience is different to most. Before the edit my car had a best time of 11.58 after the edit with no other mods it has a best of 10.68. The only thing different on the car was the surge tank but this wouldn't have added power.

The edit is the biggest variable.

There could be an infinate number of differences in the tunes from different tuners.

CAPA edit (without custom tune), which I assume is what your interested in.......a gain of @ least 40rwkw but quite often more!

For me personally before Edit I was 179RKW after generic tune on 10psi map (with BMC filter,Induction and new exhaust) 227rkw... that equates to a 48 RKW gain.
