Here's a revelation! I think I have reached a decision. After many questions and quoting with prices, I have decided to go the following option as supplied by bcr01:

Front PBR Calipers

Front PBR slotted rotors

Braided lines to suit

Pads to suit

Rear Pads upgraded

The price to me seems very good and I have been told this will give me about 90% of the full PBR kit capacity... and the easy option to upgrade the rear rotors when the stockies are no good (and the rear calipers are exactly the same as the stock ones). This will be my first mechanical upgrade to my car, and in light of safety and my plans for the near future, the car needs to be able to stop before it can go faster!

Anyone interested in this contact bcr01, my price was including delivery to my door.

Cheers

Steve

sorta off topic but on a recent review of bf xr6 n/a auto 6 speed they said that performance brakes were no longer offered as an option as the cars were coming with territory brakes which apparently exceed the old performance breaks..... can anyone shed some light on this???

thanks

What rotors did you have to start with (and are keeping on the back)? Premo or the std?

What pads are you going to use?

dba do make a 5000 series rotor for the premium brake set up only.this is a two piece rotor with a alloy hat and a steel disc.

I can supply and fit pbr premium brake kit for $2100.00

I work in melbourne.pm for details.

has anyone tried ebc "green stuff" or "red stuff" high performance pads.if so what did you think.green stuff is a low dust hi-po pad for hard street use red stuff is for track days/exteme street.has anyone tried these on standard or premium set ups.
